Cape Ann Auction Journal
What are we looking for?

Since that's the question we get most, here's a quick helpful guide.
What we Buy and Take on Consignment Estate Contents: Entire estate contents and large collections.
There may be many items on the "What we Don't Buy List" below, that we would purchase in an entire estate or large collection buy-out.
Cape Ann Art / Paintings / Folk Art / Pop-Culture - We're especially interested in pieces Cape Ann Artists & Americana.
From the Gloucester School to Old Signs with great graphics.
Coins: We have a large budget for coin collections, especially US silver, or other high value US coins singly or in small lots.
Fine & Costume Jewelry: Estate jewelry of gold, silver, platinum, & interesting costume/vintage jewelry.
Maritime Antiques - From binnacles ships wheels and much in between!
Scrap Gold & Silver : You'd be surprised what your broken gold and scrap sterling silver can be worth!
We like .925 flatware sets, serving pieces etc.
Mid-Century Modern Furniture & Accessories: Especially Danish Teak & Design.
Art Pottery and Bohemian Decor Vehicles - Good used and vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles.
Sports Collectibles: Generally speaking, the older the better here, but we'll look at anything.
Watches: We'll travel a reasonable distance depending on what is in your collection, or you can bring the items to us.
Bronze Statues & Objets d'Art: An enormous category, but we're looking for quality here.
If you're not sure, emailing pics can be helpful.
We're most interested in bronze art nouveau & art deco statues, anything related to Gloucester & Cape Ann, especially works by Walker Hancock & contemporaries.
