We've got 2 auctions closing this week. Our personal favorite lot in the Halloween Auction? The hand-made, over-built coffin shaped banjo case! Lot #186. But hey, if that's not your thing, there's 247 lots of awesome antiques and collectibles in this auction! Some are Halloweeny, creepy, some are valuable, some have noble metals, but there's one thing they ALL have in common.
All the bids start at $1 and there are no reserves!
Ahh know, it’s NOT ONLY Rock n Roll, but we like it! Our Vintage Vinyl / Pop Culture auction features: music of all genres, posters, Bohemian clothing and more! We’re not gonna sugar-coat it, this one is off to a slow start, and we think there are gonna be a LOT of sleepers! So far it’s shaping up to be a pretty profitable auction for savvy re-sellers.
Think we’re kidding, here’s a screenshot of a few items out of the 229 listed with their current bids. Many of the lots have multiple records.

Here are 5 tips for bidding in online auctions:
Set a Budget and Stick to It: Before you start bidding, determine the maximum amount you're willing to spend at an auction. Having an overall budget in place will help you avoid overspending, but still allows you to get something good from an auction if you get outbid on your first choices - it happens! This is especially useful to resellers.
Do Your Research: Thoroughly investigate the item you're interested in. Check its condition, compare prices from other sellers, and consider any potential shipping or handling fees. The more you know about the item, the better equipped you'll be to make informed bidding decisions.
Familiarize Yourself with the Auction Rules: Each online auction platform may have its own set of rules and procedures. Take the time to understand the bidding increments, any buyer's premiums, and the payment and shipping terms before you start bidding.
Utilize Proxy Bidding or Maximum Bids: Many online auction platforms offer a proxy bidding or maximum bid feature. This allows you to set the highest amount you're willing to pay, and the system will automatically bid on your behalf up to that limit. This can be a helpful strategy, especially if you can't actively monitor the auction.
Use the Contact and Inspection Methods Available : So many times people incorrectly assume size, condition, age, weight, or other attributes of something they wish to bid on. Most reputable auction platforms provide an email, chat or text # to help you with questions. Use them and you’ll have a jump on the competition that guesses incorrectly.
Shadowland - We recently purchased the contents of a place called Shadowland! It was as cool and as funky as it sounds and so is the loot we loaded into Moby, (our Ford Transit T-250 Van) and we can’t wait to offer it to you via our upcoming Yard Sale and Shadowland Auction.
